Welcome back to Rooted!  We hope you've all had a fantastic chilled-out Summer break and are really excited to get going again with a new term!
Now to THE BIG QUESTION you've all been waiting for.....(drum roll..................) "Where is our new venue?" I hear you all shouting!
Ah well. now then, how shall I put it..errrmmmm..let me see.....
Actually, it looks like we will still be at St Margs after all (hurray!!) We are still awaiting confirmation of this, so watch this space carefully over the next day or so......

What is Rooted?

Rooted is a dynamic, exciting group for those in school yrs 10-11, building roots in the Bible, Evangelism and Discipleship. In BED!

We meet every Friday in term time to play really daft games, eat chocolate!, discuss an aspect of God, his Word and how to live for him. Be radical! That's usually followed by a mad game of something like MAFIA (if you are confused, you’ll have to get Rooted to find out more!)

Rooted is for everyone, whether you already have a relationship with God or don’t have a clue what that means.  Rooted also enjoy regular social events such as bowling, cinema, the annual water-war , BBQs, DVD and pizza evenings etc so feel free to turn up, get to know us and see what you think.  Be prepared to be challenged, confused and.... rooted!  Phone for more info 0151 427 4669 or email rooted@liverpooljubilee.org.uk

This summer we had an amazing time at NEWDAY 2009 so put next summer's dates in your diary NOW and try to come camping with us next summer to  NEWDAY 2010 6th-12th August. If you wanna know what its like, speak to anybody who went this year - they all cant wait to get back there again!

BLITS!

Welcome back to Blits and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US! yes , we are now officially 1 yeat old!  
We hope you've all had a fantastic chilled-out Summer break and are really excited to get going again with a new term!

BLITS is the brand new shiny youth group for all those in yrs 8 & 9 and yes, it’s for boys and girls! Is that good or bad….????
We are like a younger version of ROOTED, but of course we are totally cool and trendy!
When?.....every Friday during term time,

What happens?... well, we'll have lots of very silly games (often involving chocolate!) and usually we'll have a really interesting discussion or quiz or a short talk about what it really means to be a Christian today and about how God is alive and still doing really cool stuff…
About twice a term we'll go out somewhere ie; bowling , or in Summer we have a huge treasure hunt  (it’s the hunt that’s huge, not the treasure; sorry!) in Sefton Park.
