Scotland
Simon Lee was working with me as an evangelist in Stockport when I said to him that I thought God was calling me to Liverpool. His immediate response was, "I'll come with you, give you five years, get married and go to Scotland."
Simon lead our worship brilliantly for five years, was a key member of my leadership team during that time and also ran a successful midweek group. After four years in Liverpool Simon married Joanne (Jo) and they both continued to lead, serve and support our church until the day we laid hands on them to send them to Glasgow. Almost 5 years to the day. What a prophetic pronouncement Simon made over his life that day in Stockport.
Simon and Jo have been in Glasgow serving our newfrontiers church there for two years and have just moved to Dunblane to start a chuch plant in Stirling. What a blessing it is to serve another leader in church planting! God often seems to ask those who serve well to lead a work of their own one day.
