Chris and Mie
Anne Marie (Mie) came to England to study ballet, determined to live for Jesus. Chris was studying to be a Doctor and was instantly attracted to this Norwegian beauty.  Mie told him that she loved Jesus and that Jesus would always be first in her life.  Chris became a believer, in Jesus first and secondly that Mie should marry him. They did marry and ran a wonderful Alpha course from their home in Allerton.  They now live in Oslo, Chris is fluent in Norwegian and works as a Doctor there.  They have two children, Elissa and Samuel.  Samuel was born with severe eating difficulties.  As a family they have been on Norwegian TV several times sharing how they have had to trust God with Sam's many operations.  Things are looking very good for Samuel now, praise God.

Eirik and Rakel
Eirik heads the Norwegian Tranmere Supporters Club.  He and Rakel wanted to be closer to his beloved team and also help a new church.  They spent an amazing year with us, serving at everything, including Alpha, children's work, worship and set up. They also hosted a midweek group in their home.  On their last sunday with us Eirik briliantly preached his first sermon in English from Jeremiah and Rakel sang in the band.  They are back in Norway now, leading and making a difference in their home church.
