Meet some of the people from jubilee churches merseyside
Andrew Greenhalgh
God first picked me out via Billy Graham's Mission England tour at the age of nine or 10, but I did not make a firm commitment to Him for another nine years, when I was confirmed in the Church of England.
However, after wandering further and further off His path, God sensibly realised that drastic measures were needed in order for me to get off my ever so slightly lazy behind. To this end, He set me up on a blind date with Julie, who belonged to a New Frontiers church in Chelmsford, and changed my life pretty much overnight. Julie and I have now been together for four years and married for three, are on fire for God and could not be happier. We have two fantastic children and feel incredibly blessed that He has chosen us to serve Him. Life is truly great.
P.S. I write a Christian blog on the Liverpool Echo website, called 'Born Again Blogger' in reference to my baptism last September. Find it at http://bornagainblog.merseyblogs.co.uk/

When I was younger I went to a church for years with my mum and I knew all the stories from the bible but I never really knew god. I got to about 14 years old and got in with the wrong crowd, and turned out every parent’s nightmare. Let’s just say I had a colourful past. Nothing seemed to satisfy me until I heard about Jesus again now 32 years old. The knot I walked around with was untied, God never let go of me 18 years on. Now every day I walk on an amazing journey with God. Some days are bad but more are good, either way I have an amazing god that holds my hand through it all and now my children can know him as well. Wow !!!!

I started to really know God when I was 8. He revealed himself to me when I prayed for lost things to be found. God is my heavenly father and my best friend and I talk to him about anything! At the moment, God is helping me get my friends along to the church youth club ROOTED. What an amazin' God

Since becoming a Christian, I have found God to be so faithful to me and my family. He has helped me with every aspect of my life but above all has become my saviour and friend.

I became a Christian in my late teens but God changed me completely when I moved to Bracknell and experienced the Holy Spirit in my life. God has been developing my relationship with Him in stages, and I now serve Him as leader of the Wirral church plant.
